In conjunction with the International Anti-Drug Day on June 26, the Dangerous Drugs Control Board, the Kegalle District Secretariat and the Police Superintendent's Office will jointly organize the following programs covering the Kegalle district.

Educating government officials on drug prevention

Placing stickers against drug trafficking and distribution of awareness leaflets in all shops and traffic throughout Kegalle city.

Educating children and parents of schools in Kegalle by street theater groups of Kegalle and Warakapola Divisional Secretariats.

Educating the inmates of Kegalle Prison about the harmful effects of drug use.

Accordingly, we expect everyone's support to achieve this year's theme, "Let's strengthen prevention regardless of people's differences."
