An awareness regarding the export process was held today (05) in the district secretariat auditorium with the aim of empowering innovative entrepreneurs who join the export process in Kegalle district.

There, many issues including business counseling, obtaining standardization certificates when sending goods to foreign markets, product labeling and packaging, new market trends, the Central Bank's contribution to the export market, and the benefits of using social media were informed.

On that occasion, District Governor/District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Director General of Export Agriculture Department Mrs. A. P. N. Disna and the staff, Mrs. Thilini Samaradivakara Manager of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka's Matale Regional Office and the staff, government officials and entrepreneurs were present on that occasion.
