Kegalle District Secretariat's Muslim Affairs Division, Islamic Studies Centre's Reconciliation Center, Kegalle District Muslim Church Federation and Muslim Women's Research and Action Forum jointly organized the cultural experience exchange program, "You Know Us" yesterday (25) at the Kegalle City Jumma Masjid throughout the day. 

It is special that a large number of people gathered together for this program, which aims to develop religious harmony and harmony among nations by sharing experiences with other nations about all the religious rites and rituals that take place in a Muslim church.

Accordingly, the chief guests were brought to the Kegalle City Muslim Mosque from Kegalle Golahela Junction amidst the wooden sports performances of the children of Hemmathagama Zahria Arabic School. Maulvi Nizam, Honorary President of the District Muslim Masjid Federation, welcomed all those present and the program was introduced by Maulvi Munir Mulafar of CIS Institute. Kegalle District Secretary Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe also added his congratulations, and all those who contributed to the entire program were remembered by the Muslim Affairs Liaison Officer of the District Secretariat Mr. MFM Rilwan.

We will recognize you as part of the program, which includes a tour of the Muslim mosque, live prayers, explanations about Islam, learning about history, poster exhibition, mehndi art for women, as well as traditional Muslim food, and the opportunity to translate their names using Arabic characters. 

District Muslim Affairs Officer M.F.M. Rilwan, Psychology District Counseling Officer M.B.M. Iqbal, Language Interpreter M.A.M. Feuser had successfully organized this program together.

Honorable Maha Sangharatna, Additional District Secretary K.G.S. Nishantha, Kegalle and Ruwanwella Divisional Secretaries, heads of various government institutions and departments, government officials, school students and others attended this event.
