The Kegalle District Literary Competition, which is organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, was held yesterday (22) at the Royal College of Kegalle.

Children's stories were presented in Sinhala, Tamil and English media, results of folk singing competitions were released at the same time and judging of all other literary works was also done here.

A panel of twelve officers from the Kegalle Regional Office was present for this purpose.

This tournament was jointly organized by the District Cultural Officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijayaratne as per the instructions and guidance of the District Secretary and the Additional District Secretary.
