A program to sensitize Kegalle District Development Officers on the role of the Foreign Employment Bureau in the year 2025 was held today (21 November 2024) at the District Secretariat Auditorium under the patronage of Assistant District Secretary Malsha L. Priyadarshani and with the participation of the Ratnapura Senior Provincial Manager of the Foreign Employment Bureau, Mr. Jagath Batugedara.

This program discussed the benefits provided to expatriate workers, programs to educate migrant workers, the problems - suggestions and ideas of the Foreign Employment Development Officers of the Divisional Secretariats, the problems faced by the foreign employment sector in the district, the role of the Development Officers of the District Secretariats in preparing a program regarding the emigration of skilled workers in the district and raising the foreign employment sector in the district.

This program, which was held today under the coordination of the District Coordination Officer of the Foreign Employment Division of the Kegalle District Secretariat, Mr. Harindra Udamulla, was attended by all the officers of the Foreign Employment Division of the District Secretariat, including the Development Officers of the Divisional Secretariats of the Kegalle District.
