It was disclosed at the progress review meeting held today (19) under the leadership of District Secretary/Deputy Deputy Ranjana Jayasinghe that the target of recruitment in the Social Security department by the end of the year 2024.

The District Secretariat advised the Social Security Department to comply the necessary measures to recruit 5 contributors from one domination at the Divisional Secretariat level in 2025 and to seek the support of the Divisional Secretaries.

Accordingly, the target of recruiting contributors for the Social Security contributor in 2025 is 5000.

Additional District Secretary (Administration) K. G. S. Nishantha informed the officers that the social security officers should present the progress at the monthly divisional day meeting held at the Divisional Secretariat Division level and that the progress of the district social security division should be presented at the monthly meeting of the Divisional Secretaries held at the District Secretariat.

At this time, a complimentary certificate was also conducted to evaluate the officers by completing target enrollment for the year 2022- 2023.

The program was organized by Social Security department including Mrs. Renuka Herath, Senior Coordination Officer of Sabaragamu Province.
