A cheque donation ceremony was held at the District Secretariat at 04th March under the District Secretary/Government Agent Jagath Herath to four children enrolled in the “Safety Pension” scheme of the Social Security Pension Scheme.
Four female students from Ruwanwella, Dehimbita and Galigamuwa Divisional Secretariats who passed the Ordinary Level examination held in 2023 were presented with cheques worth Rs. 50,000.
This programme was organized by Sabaragamuwa Provincial Senior Social Service Officer Mrs. Renuka Herath.
