The District Secretariat has implemented a number of programs in the past few days on the occasion of Vesak Week.
Accordingly, the staging of the Chattapani stage play directed by W. A. Suriya Bandara and the "Sadaham Dhara Bathi Gee Saraniya" with the participation of officers representing all sections of the District Secretariat were organized by the District Cultural Officer, Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne and the said division 16th of May 2025.
Also, in conjunction with this Vesak Week, the District Samurdhi Division had a Kadala Dansala and a Saw Dansala with the help of the field officers of the District Secretariat were successfully held with the participation of a large number of people.
The District Secretary/Government Agent Mr.Jagath Herath, along with staff officers and the staff of the District Secretariat were present on all these occasions.
