A promotion of financial literacy and psychological empowerment program was held on 06th June with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of the Samurdhi Managers and the relevant officers in parallel to the community empowerment program. At the District Secretariat Auditorium, chaired by Mrs. Kusum Bandara.
The former National Organizer of the National Institute of Child Protection Authority, the National Child Protection Authority, the National Child Protection Authority, Commerce Bank Marketing Bank Marketing Manager Mr.Visu Perera. Development Officers and Samurdhi Development Officers in the district have been informed by the program by the program.
