A meeting of buyers and entrepreneurs was held yesterday (14) at the Kegalle Municipal Council Hall with the aim of creating long-term local and foreign sales relationships for entrepreneurs engaged in the production of quality goods at the Divisional Secretariat level of the Kegalle District.
A large number of buyers including Keells Superstore, Athukorala Hamuha Business, Ariyadasa Sweets - Kegalle Weligama Stores, Yuwathi Institute - Polgahawela, MC Lovers - Galigamuwa, representatives of various service cooperative societies in the Kegalle District participated as buyers. Many manufacturers who produce high-quality products from among the entrepreneurs spread throughout the Kegalle District joined this with the hope of creating sales opportunities.
The program also provided an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to establish many sales contacts for their products.
This program was organized by the Small Enterprise Development Division (SED) of the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development.
The event was attended by District Secretary Jagath Herath, Additional District Secretary (Administration) Kusum Bandara, Assistant Director of the Small Enterprise Development Division Shantha Manthilaka, buyers, entrepreneurs and others.
