Kegalle District Exhibition and Innovation Clinic organized by Kegalle District Secretariat under the direction of the Ministry of Science and Technology started today (26) at Kegalle Municipality Hall.
"A Rich Country - A Beautiful Life" In accordance with the Government's National Policy Frame by providing support to innovators and individuals aspiring to become innovators to improve products and encourage innovations of micro and small scale entrepreneurs born at the local level in accordance with government's National Policy Frame This program will be operated day wide with purpose.
Accordingly, the official launch of exhibition carrying innovation products here and the opening of that innovation clinic was under the leadership of Environment Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabandhe and Kegalle District Parliament MP Sagarika Gangani Athuda, Kegalle District Secretary KGS Nishantha.
At this time, Mrs. Nilakshi Wijesinghe, entrepreneur of Galigamuwa Vidatha Center, was symbolized by GMP International Status Certificate.
Also to raise awareness about the loan scheme of public bank, local manager Mr. Upul Bandara.
Lots of new products and innovation equipment for school children and entrepreneurs were added to this exhibition.
The programs were organized by Kegalle District Executive Officer Mr. Sidath Sangakkara along with the provincial secretariat officers.
Mr. Manoji Karunaratne, Executive Director of Ministry of Science and Technology, Additional District Secretary (Government) Kusum Bandara, Ruwanwella Divisional Secretary, Assistant District Secretary, Deputy Officers, Government Officers, Entrepreneurs, School Students etc were together at the occasion.
