A training program on financial literacy and skill credit was held today (27) at the district secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of Additional District Secretary (Lands and Development) Mr. Gamalatge Dilip Nishantha.

There, Ms. Thilini Samaradivakara the manager of Central Bank of Sri Lanka's Matale regional office informed about financial literacy and after that they were also informed about skill loan and business planning.

For this purpose, a group of young people who wanted to start a business and who have already started a business were together and this program was organized by the National Apprenticeship and Training Authority.

The District Chief of that authority, District Planning Director A.A. Weerakoon, center commanders of the youth corps of Kegalle district, and district skill development officers were present on this occasion.
