The International Anti-Tobacco and Anti-Drug Flags Program will be implemented from May 31 to June 14 by the Social Development Division of the Prosperity Development Department of the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs and Social Empowerment.

Along with this, the Kegalle District Prosperity Flag Program was presented to the District President/District Secretary Mr. Ranjan Jayasinghe and Additional District Secretary (Administration) Dinisha S. Ratnayake, today (31st) started with putting up the first flag.

The money from the sale of these flags will be used to build houses for widows and disabled people, provide scholarships to identified low-income children, provide disabled equipment to disabled people and provide self-employment assistance to identified widowed women.
