The Kegalle District Divisional Secretaries Conference was held today (28) afternoon at the District Secretariat under the chairmanship of District Secretary Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe.

The Governor further said that he appreciated the efforts of the Divisional Secretaries as a district to control the dengue disease which is currently spreading rapidly throughout the country and he was also concerned about rat fever.

The job fair program held on the 7th of July was successfully concluded with the participation of 2675 people and attention was paid to the background necessary for regular follow-up of the program.

Also, there was a discussion about the New Village New Country program, human development plan preparation, clothing program and budget estimates for the year 2024.

Rathnayake, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Gamalathge Dilip Nishantha , District Planning Director A.A.Weerakoon, District Agriculture Director Manjula Pinnalanda, District Welfare Commissioner T.A.P. Kusumsiri, Chief Accountant Chandani Nilmalgoda, Assistant Divisional Secretaries, and few people participated.
