"Satsara Dahana" song enjoyment program held in conjunction with "Kala Vibhashi" district literature festival, was recently held at the "Paboda Meth Sevana"  rehabilitation center under the leadership of Additional District Secretary (Administration) Mrs. Dinisha S. Ratnayake.

A group of 16-25 year old drug addicts are rehabilitated at the "Pabodha Meth Sevana" rehabilitation center run by the Prison Authority. This program was held with the aim of developing their enjoyment of music by removing their mental stress.

TV communicator and media studies teacher Mr. Saman Bandara and veteran artist Mr. Surath Balasuriya's harmonies made the "Satsara Dahana" song enjoyment program colorful and the melodious music of Development Officer Ms. Pabodha Jayatissa mixed with it.

The program was organized by the district culture department including the district cultural officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne.

For this occasion, senior counseling officer Mrs. R.D.K. Jayaratne, Pabodha Meth Sewa Rehabilitation and Treatment Center Officer Jail Superintendent Sumudu Perera, Senior Rehabilitation Officer Mr. S.L. Ariyakumara and others joined.
