Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, Kegalle District Secretariat, Kegalle Police, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Ministry of Sports, Provincial Sports Development Department, Kegalle Cooperative Assistant Commissioner's Office, Kegalle Assistant Local Government Commissioner's Office, Kegalle Volleyball Association and Suhada Mithuru Samsada jointly organize the Kegalle Volleyball Festival - 2023, started today (15) at Kegalle Police Stadium with the dedication of Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe, Kegalle District Secretary.

The first day of this volleyball festival held at Kegalle Police Stadium, Rock Hill Stadium and Kegalle College Stadium over the three days of 15, 16, 17, the State Institution Volleyball Tournament (Women/Men) and the Under-16 School Boys Tournament were held.

On the second day of the tournament, private company and estate company volleyball tournament (men) and under-16 (girls) tournaments will be held. On the last day, the cooperative challenge championship sports club volleyball tournament will be held for men and school under-sixteen (boys) tournaments.

A large number of people including Sabaragamuwa Provincial Sports Ministry Secretary, Kegalle Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kegalle Additional District Secretaries, sports officials and officials from various government institutions attended the opening ceremony.
