The small business development section of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, which was a special milestone in the search for future entrepreneurs, presented the prize ceremony and art exhibition of the winners of the Golden Idea art and essay competition in Kegalu district today (21) afternoon at the additional premises of the district secretariat, held under the patronage of additional district secretary Mr. K.G.S. Nishantha.

There, medals, financial prizes and certificates and merit certificates were distributed to the winners of the art and essay competition held under the junior and senior categories as well as participation certificates to all the participating children. It was also special that nearly 600 children participated in this tournament under the two divisions.

The program was organized by the district small business development department including Ms. Trinsi Manoja, assistant director.

On that occasion, District Planning Director Mr. A.A Weerakoon and Representative and Assistant Planning Directors, District director of agriculture, small business development officers of the divisional secretariats, school students, teachers and parents were present.
