In conjunction with the World Children's Day, the award ceremony of medals, prizes and certificates for the winners of the Kegalle District winners of the All-Ceylon "Thought Paintings" competition held by the National Child Protection Authority in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 with the theme of child rights and child protection was held yesterday (27) in the morning district secretariat auditorium.

The prize giving ceremony, which was held for nearly a hundred students of the school section as well as the winners of the open section, was organized by the District Child Protection Officer Vinodani Kulatunga and the District Psychosocial Officer Chaturika Bandara.

On that occasion, District Governor/District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, District Planning Director A.A.Weerakoon, administrative officer Yamini Ratnayake, divisional child care officers and school students were present.
