A progress review meeting of the Kegalle District Culture Section was held today (28) in the morning under the chairmanship of Additional District Secretary (Administration) K.G.H Nishantha.

The progress and future activities of the programs carried out in 2023 by the cultural section of the district secretariat as well as the cultural sections of the divisional secretariats were discussed here.

The literature festival to be held in the year 2024, the programs to be held under the Dolosmahe Pahana as well as the programs to be held at the level of the Divisional Secretariat were discussed here.

This program was organized by the district culture department including the district cultural officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne and a group of cultural officers from divisional secretariats joined for this.
