Implementing the second phase of the legacy of capitalizing 20 lakh freehold deeds, with the participation of His Excellency President Ranil Wickramasinghe, the program of awarding deeds to 350 deed holders in Kegalle district was held on 06/04/2023 at Ruwanwella Vandala Sri Visuddharama Temple.

Ruwanwella Dehiowita Regional Development Committee Chairman, Member of Parliament Mr. Sudath Manjula welcomed and addressed the assembly and the program started. Representing the political monopoly, the policy holders were informed and the President, Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe, addressed the assembled assembly.

Simultaneously with the deed main, rice distribution was also done by implementing the second phase for low income families. Officially symbolizing it, the President distributed rice to 800 low-income families.

Representing the political authority, Governor Navin Dissanayake of Sabaragamuwa Province, Minister of Reform of State Plantation Enterprise and State Minister of Finance, Dr. Ranjith Siambalapitiya, State Minister of Technology Kanaka Herath addressed the group present here.

Kegala District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary K. G. S. Nishantha, Additional District Secretary Dilip Nishantha, Divisional Secretaries and beneficiaries participated in this event.
