Another counseling program organized by the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment and the District Psychological Counseling Unit was held today (19) at the District Secretariat Auditorium.

Through this program held for the principals of Kegalle and Mawanella education zones, they were informed about the psychological importance of school children being addicted to technological screens and avoiding the problems that may be faced by future family corporations.

Children as well as parents and teachers have been affected due to the problematic conditions of the children. The psychological guidance needed to reduce this situation was given by the expert psychiatrist Mrs. Anoma Jayasinghe. At the end of the program, the principals were given the opportunity to express their views and problems.

This program was organized by the District Senior Psychiatric Officer and District Coordinator M.B.M Iqbal and the department together with this awareness.

The District Secretary / District Governor Ranjana Jayasinghe, District Agriculture Director M.S. Thilaksiri, district and divisional secretaries' advisory officers and others were present on this occasion.
