Sanda Diya Mankada - 2024, an aesthetic display of dancing, singing and acting skills of the officers of the District Secretariat, was successfully completed recently (02) at Kegalu College Auditorium.

In the middle of the wedding drumming, Kegalle District President / District Secretary Ranjana Jayasinghe, Additional District Secretary (Administration) K.G.S. Nishantha, Additional District Secretary (Lands) Dilip Nishantha and other dignitaries including staff officers and Kegalle College Principal, former Kegalle District Culture Officer Mrs. Padmini Wickramalata were invited and the Sandadiya Mankada Art Festival-2024 concert was started by lighting the coconut oil lamp. Additional District Secretary (Administration) Mr. K.G.S. Nishantha's welcome speech was followed by the District Secretary's speech and then the festival was colorful with many colorful elements. There were singing elements, some plays and many dance elements added to it.

This year's Sandadiya Mankada Art Festival was sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, Athukorala Group, Siwali Book Store and Mr. Dambewela, the owner of Dambewela Construction.

The program was successfully organized this time with the contribution of the entire staff and the organization of the department including the District Cultural Officer Mrs. Kanchana Wijeratne.

The Sandadiya Mankada Officer Art Festival - 2024, which was held for the purpose of giving space for their aesthetic talents while getting some comfort from their duty life, was held for the second time with great success, and a large number of people including the staff of the District Secretariat and their family members participated in it.
